How do I change my music search browser so that it's not a song side by side. It some how changed into this mode and I'm not sure how to get it back to standard view.

You mean switch from Grid to List view ?
On the left side of the Browser, there is a small dot.. Browser Options-->Display List As -->List view.
PS. The List view is not available in the Tablet Skin.
