Is Vdj going to develop post fader audio effects....the other companies have them.

Open settings, search for "fxProcessing" option and set it to "Post-Fader"

Do you have examples of effects that you are missing?
Mensajes Tue 05 Jul 16 @ 7:57 am
I am not missing audio effects, I use echo or delay, I would like to make use of these same effects, but with them programmed to be post fader effects. Traktor and Serato have audio effects that are post fader effects.

If you open up the full interface for echo, you will see that there is a 'mute' button which can mute the source while continuing the echo.
Also the echo will continue without source if you move the strength to 100%.
I think both allow for similar effects as what you would do with the fader?

Not the same thing........ Plus it wont work when you close the crossfader all the way.

insurgent is correct....I do currently use the method you have suggested, but its not the same. If one compares VDJ with serato or traktor post fader audio fx can be clearly heard

It's baffled me why this hasn't been added by now as it has been requested by a lot of VDJ users. Me included!

Can this be addressed VDJ staff?

Hi guys.
Have Atomix looked into this?

Yes, post fade FX processing meanwhile made it into VDJ.

For me this is what I've been waiting ages for.
This would give many standalone controller DJs the experience as if using CDJ and a DJM mixer. I feel this is the one true lacking feature of VDJ throughout the years.

Thanks for that update Phantom.
Must admit, I missed that post when I first read the thread. I'll give a go tonight and see how it sounds.

Oh my god! It works!
I never knew of this setting. I've been messing around with all sorts of plug-ins these past weeks.
Many thanks, @PhantomDeejay for the top-tip! I, somehow, also missed the initial post you made on this one.

Can someone explain how I could use this to crossfade into a song with a completely different BPM or genre. Like with Serato and a mixer.
