hey fellow music lovers

i have a query in regards to vdj8 just 2 track decks and original skin
you have the beat counter on top 4 bars

wen you mix 2 songs do they have to be at the same spot as each other
so deck one is at 3rd beat and deck 2 is at 1 beat
but they beatmatch

also under the wav up the top on vdj8
there are little square blocks to help beat match

does it matter if some blocks are smaller the the one below it

thanks

The big marker is for the downbeat 1,2,3,4 sometimes the automatic gridding gets it wrong, it can be manually corrected.
If two tracks are correctly gridded then you want the down beats aligned

I'd appreciate further instruction on how to manually adjust the gridding. Not a lesson in what 1,2,3,4, beat alignment, etc. but the process on how to adjust the grid in the program? Thanks.

See the pad page plugin called grid adjust, there's also the bpm editor, but the pad page is quicker.

Further instruction can be found in the VDJ manual. BPM Editor, page 63.
