Is there a way to couple the column size of all browsers. All highs have another column size. i hate this. I mean the size of folder, title list, sideview and info.

No, each Browser has its own window widths. In fact, this is by design. You probably need different information to see on a small height/width Browser and different ones on a large one.
E.g. you wouldnt want the Info window visible on a small Browser, but you want that in the Zoom Browser view or on any large Preparation Browser.
But keep in mind that once the adjustments are made, they are stored in settings and loaded on next session.

setting "browserColumns" be set via script? Something I'd never thought of and it'd be really useful
I tried wrapping the setting string in text and without but no joy.
