From what I understand I'm considering doing my own edits. Any suggestions of making my edits? Is it like remixing? Is it to avoid too many breakdowns like it trance. When making Trance how do you normally go about it and exactly what do you do to the track for your edit? It is just a matter of changing the order of different melodies? Shorting breakdowns? Please give me as many suggestions as you can please as I'm learning and have no idea what i'm doing and thank you in advance.

The track editor does 3 things.
Censor, make short sections reversed.
Jump forward, to skip sections.
Loop, to extend sections or if used with slip mode extend one part to skip another.
Not so much remix than edit.
For more sophisticated re-editing use action poi
Or the routine fx
To actually remix you need to double track change the mix some how and record the results
