Looking for some advice from DJ's who have or had either of theses. My preference iz spinning platters...with that said I (used) to have the NS7 but I needed more channels & other stuff. So I sold it & went with 2 Denons Sc3900's & 4 channel Mixer.. But since the NS7II came out I've been thinking about buying it....but I've seen different DJ's on the web forums complain about the platters not working right with VDJ ? Anyhoo Pros/Cons of selling my 3900's and buying NS7II ?

Have both :)
My NS7-II works perfectly with VDJ. I personally prefer the platters on the 3900s though. I mainly currently use my NS7-II for ease of transport/setup and a better feature set (pads for example). it has a few downsides, for example the centre detent on the EQs and Filter is almost non-existant and I've heard that it can wear away to nothing too which would be annoying.

There's something forthcoming from Denon in the new year. A few select people have seen it and been blown away. Denon have released a teaser video which doesn't show much, but it's believed to be competition for the ubiquitous CDJ-2000.

I've got a lightweight flightcase that houses my mixer plus either 2x3900s, 2xCDJ2000NXS or in the olden days (lol) 2xv7s.
I carry my NS7-II in a magma bag, so it doesn't actually weigh much at all IMHO, definitely lighter than any of the above 3 setups.
@groovindj: Rumour has it that's a wireless enabled "SC5000 Prime" which would hint at it also being a motorwheel :)

These things are heavy. I had one before (different brand though), brought it to a gig for the first time and sold it after 2 days.
Back to softcases on all my controllers and CDJ/DJM set ups. The only gear I have on flight cases now are my Technics 1200s and my PA boards.

Back to topic...
I had the SC3900s + DNX1600 and got rid of them when I switched to Pioneer CDJs.
I still have an NS7 but don't use it on gigs anymore.
In my experience with both units, the SC3900s have better motors than the NS7... at least with MK1.
With Numark motors, you can tell the difference of the speed in less than 30 seconds.
(Play the same song on both decks at the same time @ 0/centre-pitch)
I hope they got this improved on the MK2 & MK3 models.

Well Denon and Numark are effectively the same company now and there will be some sharing of components (for example Numark screens in the MCX8000)
Will be interesting to see what this unit comprises of and if it's real competition for Pioneer.
Also bear in mind the MCX8000 was £849 when it was released in the UK now it's £1049 so Denon UK have seriously whacked their prices up.

The filter knobs on my NS7II ch 1 & 2 have both lost their center detent locks. I heard the NS7III supposedly fixed that issue. The only thing i find annoying are the audio stutters when pressing the deck switches. Other than that it's performance is rock solid.
