Hi just bought a vms5 but for some reason can not get the mixer eq to work i can see the changes in the software but it makes no difference to the sound any ideas please ? i have the LE version that come with the controller.

Make sure its set to Pre-EQ mode

I had it set to PRE - EQ and tried POST -EQ but made no difference

There are 2 ways to work with the EQ and the VMS5..
1 Have it at Pre-EQ mode and use the factory default mapping. In this case you will be using the Hardware Equalizer (the one that the unit offers).
2. Have it at Post-EQ mode and remove the fake_eq on action from the ONINIT key. In this case you will be using the VirtualDJ Internal Equalizer

i had to edit the PRE -EQ as it just would not work for some reason a friend is a software programmer he did it in seconds all working now
