Took me while to track this one down.
Upgraded to VDJ B8.2b3523 and my videos would freeze after a couple of minutes. - never done this before. Mind you I am using HDMI cable for the first time instead of my HDMI to RS232 adapter for supporting my old video monitors.
Tried all the usual suspect video settings although nothing had changed but nope nothing would fix it.
By chance I disabled videouseDXVA and it fixed the issue - never had to touch this one before.
You live and learn. :)

Did you try to upgrade the Nvidia drivers?

Hi It's interesting that windows 10 didn't flag that a newer driver was available from Nvidia, so I have have downloaded v 376.19 and re-checked the use of videouseDXVA and video plays without freezing.
I am not sure if this is the latest Nvidia driver but it seems to have fixed the issue. Thank you for the suggestion.
