Hi there,
2 days ago i had a party, just during the play after 3/4 hours VDJ crashed.
The music was still playing, at least the last title.
Switched to my tablet playing some other stuff, in the meantime restart of lenovo w530 Laptop, as the external soundcard was no longer available in VDJ.
I prehear with an headset connected via bluetooth.
I lost my playlist and was very nervous, nobody noticed that there was a Problem.
Andy idea what that have caused ?
Are there any logfiles of VDJ I can check or attach?

If you were online VDJ normally sends a crash report to Atomix, so support may have that to look into
If the soundcard wasn't available after a restart, a good place to start may to see if you can get updated drivers for it

Hmmm, I was online the whole session, that Must have been on friday 25. august between 10pm and 2am round about.
Normally i should see what i have played in the VDJ history, but i did not see that.
May be it was a temperature problem, it was Open air and 30 degrees.
The Sound Card is an external USB Card with Output for klinke and Input for microfon.
Ok, we let it stay and i Look for updaten drivers, i think ist was a Hardware Problem.

I know that crash reports also being stored locally, but somebody has to tell where.

The above might help but it's for vdj7. Things may not have changed however I have not checked. It's very, very rare that I get a crash...although I do get a few configuration problems now and again.
