Every time I try to loop within a track that's playing it randomly changes the length of the loop ie. from 16 beats to 1/4 beat. I have no idea why it does this but it's obviously something i have changed by accident, it used to work fine.
Can somebody please help, its driving me insane.

How exactly do you loop the track ? With what controller buttons ?Every time I try to loop within a track that's playing
Have you tried with the default/factory mapping ?

okay, that wasn't it. I still have the same problem, the length of the loop keeps randomly changing.
Is there a way to restore things to the factory settings?
To put things in perspective, I have only started using mixtrack pro3 again after a serious illness last year, this has led to me having problems with my memory.
It is almost certainly something I have touched or pressed in the wrong sequence. When a track is playing I press pad 1 and 2 when they are blue, this used to result in a seamless loop of whatever length I had set (usually 8 or 16 beats), but now it could be anything (1/2 beat) and as I don't know what length it will choose until I actually press the button, can result in some horrible sounds.
Hope someone can help, thanks,

Is this a random case ? Does it happen on specific tracks ? Can you re-produce at will ? Does it happen with the default skin ?
That's really weird and cant think of any reason unless the mapping of those Pads is changed
Those 2 Pads are assigned as loop_in and loop_out by default, and should provide a manual loop of a size depending on the set exit point (loop out)
You can start by making sure that the factory/default mapping is selected (from VirtualDJ Settings->Controllers tab)
Then you could do a factory settings restore. Use the button at the top-right of the VirtualDJ Settings window->Options tab

Thanks, I've tried doing that and had no success, it still randomly changes the length of the loop.

ok, don't know what I did but its working ok now.
It was almost certainly finger trouble, something I did with one of them caused the problem.
