Tópico: Latency Question on skipping music

I have an older PC running Windows 7, I upgraded to VDJ 8 and I am having some skipping problems when I type to search songs the program starts to skip the song playing. Latency is on Automatic and I may want to try a higher latency number. What is an example of this? Or if you pro's have any suggestions on this would be helpful.

You need to tell us which sound interface you are using and whether it's WASAPI or ASIO drivers. Thanks.
 
Sorry, I am not sure on that one. How do I find out which one I am using. The soundcard in the machine is a sigma tel audio.
 
Ah ok, if it's inbuilt only then try using the "ultraLatency" setting and see if it's any better.

Also make sure exclusiveAudioAccess is set to no

What column headings are you using in the VDJ browser?
