A venue that I work with has approached me to run a regular music bingo night. For those who are doing these, are you using one of the services like digigames? Or are you using VDJ or something else, such as VLC? I did a test run with VDJ and a bingo card generator but I feel like I'm going around my a** and there's a more efficient way to do it all. Also, is there an automix feature to run VDJ playlists so that ea. song automatically runs only 30 seconds of it, then goes into the next song?
Thanks for any insight!

There is.
automixMaxLengthDefault is 0, change it to 30 seconds.
You'll also need to change the
automixModeto none to stop it from fading between songs.
If you change
historyDelayto 29 seconds it will then mark the songs as played. Then have
automixAutoRemovePlayedset to Automix and it will remove them from the list. Then you can shuffle once when you load the list or turn on shuffle. This will keep a random option always going and not repeat songs.
You can get more creative in each song by setting automix points so that it plays a particular part of the song that you choose. This way if you have a long intro or a club edit you can get to the more familiar part of the song. Or, you can just focus on hooks, lyrics, etc.
