Ok with this one now, i just realized why i wasnt hearing any sound from the track cleaner, the audio settings was set to external sound card. i just changed it to speaker only/internal sound card, and can now hear it directly from the laptops speaker and headphones.

Now that i have edited a song, it isnt stored as mp3, it is stored as a document. :-(

If you have read the manual (the page that I provided a link to) it should be clear that the original file does not get altered. Instead, an 'edit' file is created that tells VDJ what do do when you play the original file.
I'm wondering why, when your YouTube channel shows you using VDJ more than a year ago, you are asking questions here about it's basic operation.
Also (based on Facebook posts) you appear to be using VDJ professionally, to play regularly at venues, rather than only at home. For that, you require a professional license or subscription.
