Tema: best small controller for mobile and club dj

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi guys, just some advice please on what you think is the best small controller to get.

I have a Pioneer SX2 which I use for mobiles but when I go to clubs or events with full kit there, I like to carry something small like a Pioneer SB2 and connect to the venue's mixer.

I need to upgrade as my controller has broken. I tested the SB3 but it doesnt have an Asio driver which I find really annoying as when I'm out and about I like to sometimes play from internal or download a song whilst playing the majority of it through VDJ and I can't do that without an Asio driver simply otherwise the sounds clash. Or simply have the music playing whilst using the internet for other purposes on same machine.

Can anyone recommend what they use currently

I use either a Denon MC4000 or a Pioneer DDJ RX.

Personally I love the MC 4000 but it doesn’t have the full 8 pads like most other controllers these days.

It doesn’t stop me from using and I think it sounds great.

Same here on the MC4000. It is such a perfect controller for my wedding gigs features vs size, that I have a really hard time convincing myself I really need a 4 deck controller.
Solid build, great performance, and just enough features to work for a variety of different gigs.

I added a Reloop Neon for additional pads, and have enjoyed it.
