Is there a way to change the color of a played track or its icon?
Prior to VDJ2020 I always used the fruit skin that changes the icon red of a played track, which is more visible than the standard cross out of the icon.

If you right click the track you can select "mark as unplayed" to remove the played icon.
Anyone aware of a way to make the played track more obvious though?

The default icons can be changed with djdad's Browser Tweaks utility. It allows you to select a source icon file (e.g. from the FRUiT skin) and the destination skin.
It really depends on what skin(s) you're using, as it isn't possible to use the util on some skins.
It can also be done manually with a spot of skin editing.
