I'm wondering if there is a way to lock the main screen while I'm djing . I don't want anyone to be able to close or change custom settings. The reason I mapped buttons and had temp staff change settings .. on my photo booth there is a button at the top that requires a pin number to unlock it. Is there a way to do this ?

Just use the Windows built-in feature for that. Windows key + L ... i guess :)

i was thinking more of a way to lock virtual dj not go out of it! I just dont need other staff going through anything other then scrolling through music

a blank skin, with a blank controller mapping, and a pretty blank keyboard mapping, just one weird key combo to load all the normal stuff

this is what i didn't expect. lol. i tried the windows lock thing and couldn't remember my log in on this computer. it was really funny. so what i was more thinking is a lock like my photo booth has . where you have to click on one spot and a key pad comes up and asks for a code.

Windows lock screen will not go out of VirtualDJ... (Windows Key + L )
Its just a simple overlay over the screen that prevents any user input until login pasword is given - and if set, just a 4 digit quick pincode for you :)
I do this all the time ;-) for same reasons you have .. even have a nice DJ wallpaper showing .. ;-)

i still want virtual dj to work but lock down everything else as i dont need people looking at porn or files making changes or setting up remote access an last but lease no access to my settings in virtual dj.

that would be quite different, if I understood you correctly. If you want only VirtualDJ to run, and nothing else be able to
Would require a windows boot up with only one program running .. possible, but require a bit of windows policy editing
