i have a pioneer dj ddj sb2 and the master volume is not responding

What do you mean by "not responding"? If your speakers are plugged into the SB2 then the volume should change when you adjust the master volume.
If you mean that the master volume knob on VDJ is not moving, then that's normal for many controllers. The master volume control is often hardware only, not MIDI.

Probably you dont have speakers connected to the SB2 then?
Rather use PC speakers?
