Hello!
I hope to be in the right forum. If not, feel free to move it to the right one.
Does anyone know if there is (o will be) an effect that eliminates sibilance (-s, -sh, -x) in real time as an add-on in VDJ?
I have many old (and also new) original songs, with this problem and it is laborious to work one by one with mastering programs.
A filter with db-attenuation and frequency adjustables would be of great help to me -although I know it might need too many resources/CPU.
Many thanks!!

You need to use a VST plugin. The problem is that De-essing is normally done during the recording process on the vocals alone - not the finished master mix.
Obviously adjusting the EQ on a track that's already mixed down will affect the entire thing, not just the vocals.
Howvere, there are plugins that alllow you to tune in to a problem frequency and apply processing only when it's needed.

Hello groovindj!
I'll look for a free or paid VST option to add it to VDJ efects.
I've been using VDJ for years, but I've never considered VST´s for Virtual.
Thank you very much!
