Hey folks, i have and i5 with 6 gig of ram running 2021 and it's running, but the waves are looking like its running clunky.sounds ok , the waves just look like they are click click click clicking along....do i disable the math engine?.Help.

might be something else, but you can always try ...
set mathengine disabled and see if that changes anything
And is it only waveform "animation" or jogwheels etc as well? if so check if you changed SkinFPS to really low in settings

mathengine seemed to do the trick skinfps is at 30

also seems the 2018 version has never went away was i supposed to delete it , usually it runs right over it when doing an update?

Can keep it,or delete...
The 2018 version is probably 32-bit (in /programs x86/ )
And the 2021 version 64-but (in /programs/ )
If you do delete 2018, make sure to click "NO" at removing database, playlists etc that pops up when you uninstall ;-)

Totally fine to keep ;-)
And uses same database etc, so quite seamless to use both ..
