Hi, I am playing vdj through laptop, audio output through amps and speakers and video output through hdmi to a modulated which converts it to a coaxil cable to connect to my TVs, my problem is this causes a slight delay of about a second on the videos, I have spent ages trying to adjust the video delay but can't work out if I'm supposed to be doing plus or minus, whatever I try I can't seem to get it right. Any suggestions please

Put a delay on the audio signal so it matches the delay presumably caused by the HDMI conversion.
 
Ok, I will try that. Yes the delay is caused by the hdmi conversion. Thanks for the help.

Just type delay in settings
 
Tried that, only video delay comes up
 
Add audio delay ?? that's definitely bad to do so, unless you are not mixing live and playing some mixtapes.

Best would be to find some hardware solution with low video latency/delay.

If not possible, the video_delay action can take negative values (in ,milliseconds) so try ..
video_delay -1000 (1000=1 sec)
on a custom button or set the negative value in videoDelay setting
