Hi everyone-
I am still searching for a backup controller and i stumbled across the Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500.
so i have some questions :
Has anybody tried it with Vdj ?
How is the output sound quality ? is it enough for a usb powered controller ?
Are the inputs (RCA & mini-Jack) giving enough sound ?
Can i map the 4 center fx to some other vdj fx like echo-out or loop-out ?
Would it trigger when i press the button or just "enable it" & i would have to turn the "filter" knob left or right to enable it or change the parameters (without doing it on the vdj gui with the mouse?)
As you can tell i am used to the old way of doing things on a controller (Ddj sx-rr etc) especially fx, and the new ways of doing things on controllers are something that my muscle memory will have to learn probably...
I just want to do the same actions- in the same way- on a new controller if possible !
Btw, does it have asio drivers or is it wasapi ?
All of my controlles to this point have asio so i am a little troubled about the wasapi in terms of latency etc.
For the cost it has it seems to offer quite a lot i think..
And : if you had to choose between ddj sb3 & Hercules DJControl Inpulse 500 what would you pick ?
