I have an out of app console program that can include or exclude a search for anything in the database [anything, cues without a name, tracks with markers, action cues with specified action]
[it makes playlists to work on in app]
i know database editing will never be recommended in any circumstances except with vdj itself, but it sure would be useful if vdj could give a read only version of the database with the api [with the warning "you'll be working with a 10 - 20+ mb string! don't expect to use it in a performance environment" ] we could go deep diving for data.
My non live app is available for windows on pm request.

Locodog.. using your amazing, virtualfx and .. the cueQueryLoop that you wrote with it ..
could be a workaround.. since it writes cue info, to the tag editor, which can then be quick filtered or have color rules created.
