I just bought the NS4FX after using the Numark Mixtrack Platinum FX. That older one has all 8 pads on each side mapped to cues so it can show up to 8 cue points. The NS4FX has the top 4 mapped to cue points but then it does weird stuff on the bottom like fast forward and rewind. How do I get the bottom ones mapped also to cue points? I tried to do it manually and had everything working except it doesn't light up. This controller only has one color (white), FYI. This is driving me crazy. Both these controllers are extremely similar - the newer one offers more outputs and 4 channel EQs and sliders.

You should not remap the pads.
You should use the default mapping and just select "hotcues" pad page for the first slot (via the VirtualDJ GUI)

By default NS4FX uses a special "Cues NS4FX" pad page for the first slot.
