i have replaced my laptop and would like to load the ion dj2go skin back on that i have alicence for but cant get it to work, any ideas on what i am doing wrong

I'm sure that skin came with the LE version in the box of that controller install that and you will get the skin back

More details required. What do you mean by "it"? The controller? The software? The skin?
In what way is "it" not working? What's not happening?
Also, you don't have a license for a skin. There's no such thing.
N.B. you don't need a particular skin for VDJ to work with your controller. Just download VDJ, run it and plug in the controller.
