Can anyone tell me how to set needle search to work on master track that's playiing ?
I think that i have seen a menu option but i can't refind it .

If the deck is playing, then you need to turn the volume slider or crossfader so the track is not heard..
then the needle search will function.
Else one could change the mapping of NEEDLE_SEARCH for your controller. (to eliminate the safety feature)

For most controllers we provide an option.
You don't need to remap the controller.
So, open VirtualDJ settings, click on Options, then Controller and check if it has a dedicated "needleLock" setting.
