It should but is not working, at least for me. I found VDJ is making an entry on the .m3u that is not compatible.
Example VDJ.m3u
#EXTVDJ:<filesize>7041401</filesize><artist>Fascination</artist><title>Don't You Think It's Time (Dub Mix) (1988)</title><remix>Dub Mix</remix><songlength>437.159</songlength>
E:\Music\Fascination - Don't You Think It's Time (1988) (Dub Mix).mp3
Example Standard.m3u
#EXTINF:437, - - Don't You Think It's Time (Dub Mix) (1988)
E:\Music\Fascination - Don't You Think It's Time (1988) (Dub Mix).mp3
If I delete the entries mark on red and save the playlist, it converts it to the Stardard m3u that I've tested importing it in to Traktor, Rekordbox, Windows Media Player and others and it works, but importing m3u created by VDJ it is not reconice.
Same on MAC.

Use Lexicon, nothing better to move playlists around to different software....

Indeed, great alternative... you get to transfer all your cues.
