Hi,
A portable folder would be a new kind of favorite folder with the difference that at the root of that folder would be a VDJ's metadata library for all files underneath.
The benefit would be that if I spend time doing preparation work on a portable folder, then if I take this folder to another computer, all the metadata is there.
I can then have libraries on external disk or share my DJ library between my desktop and laptop computer using syncthing or other way of synchronizing data.
