Some scripting is straight forward but I'm lost in the logic here. The following attempt at a script is supposed to pause the music and run a scratch and restart. Why doesn't it restart the playback?
pause & scratch_dna "DaDaDaDa.DADaDaDa. DADACeCa" & play

So since the DNA was 3 beats long (separated by 2 dots) we had to wait for that to finish before re-enabling.
