I have had this issue for a little bit now where every time I start VirtualDJ 2024, it throws the error: "Warning: Startup of MixerEngine is taking a long time."

[Edit] Never mind. This is for a database taking to long error. I'll look around a little more though.
[Edit 2] Another few people having warnings about VDJ loading slow also found it was hard drive related. https://www.virtualdj.com/forums/208613/General_Discussion/Startup_Problem.html
I'm sure there's probably someone else on here (like staff) that would be more familiar with this and able to offer more specific advice.

It seems clearing some sort of hard drive cache fixed it for someone. Hopefully this helps you.
