Hello,
I recently purchased a pair of RELOOP RP-8000 MK2 turntables, and I'm facing some problems.
SETUP: DDJ-RZX + RELOOP RP 8000 MK2 + WIN 11 + Virtual DJ PRO.
The record players are connected via an RCA cable to the DDJ and a USB cable to the notebook.
Before starting Virtual DJ, I need to configure the sound card through the Windows sound settings. This has always been necessary.
Errors I am facing.
- Sometimes Virtaul Dj does not recognize the Reloop's midi, only the time code signal, losing the Reloop's midi functionalities. When you recognize it, it happens in the middle of the playback that the turntables lose their midi function. Forcing me to restart the system.
- Other times the sound card configuration is lost during execution and I need to restart the laptop and redo the Windows sound configuration process.
- And the worst part, the VDJ simply freezes and emits only a signal noise.
I don't know if there could be a conflict, which I haven't located.

It's not a conflict.
Your laptop can't handle all USB connections properly.
I don't know HOW you connect all this gear, but try a POWERED USB hub (with external PSU) or different USB ports until you find a configuration that works.
Also, check your USB cables and maybe check that the USB ports on your gear (and specifically on RP8000) are not loose.

Hi,
My laptop has 3 USB ports, the turntables and the DDJ are connected directly to the laptop's USB ports.
I also tried using a HUB which gave me the same result.

I can't help you further with troubleshooting your system, but the symptoms you describe show a LAPTOP that has issues keeping up with 3 MIDI connections when it shouldn't.
Before trying to do anything else, try to borrow and use a different laptop to see if the issues go away or not.
