I'm using Virtual DJ 2025 on Mac, and only recently upgraded.
On my previous version of the software, I could disable and re-enable stem separation instaneously while the program was running. This was helpful, as some transitions work just fine by using the EQ knobs, while other transitions are better when disabling specific instruments or vocals. However, whenever I try to enable/disable stem separation now, I have to restart the program for things to take effect.
With that in mind, I have two questions:
1) Is this a glitch, or can Virtual DJ only disable/enable stems by restarting the software in the current version?
2) Possible alternative: With stems enabled, is there a way to adjust what stems my EQ knobs effect? For example, when I turn the low knob to 0%, it only removes the kick. It'd be nice if I could remove the kick and the bass at the same time.

I just tried that out; no dice. It still only removes the kick.
I suppose I should have mentioned it earlier, but I wanted to see about using the mid and high knobs to affect other stems as well, not just the kick and bass.
