Tópico: Hot Cues 9 thru 16
My controller has 8 pads per deck, and I’d say for most songs I’ve got 8 Hot cues. This works really well for me. There are times when I will set more cues than 8 Hot cues, and would like to have access to them on my controller. I’ve finally figured out how to setup the pad selector buttons (the small buttons above the pads) to change the function of the pads, but don’t see a way to set a selector buttons to access the next 8 cue points.

I COULD use the Custom set to do this, but already have those assigned to other things. I did figure out I could also mark cues 8 thru 16 as Remix points and have that as the 2nd selector button press… but was curious if there is an easier way to way get cues 9-16 on the pads.

Soooooo…. so close…. I thought I had this working but still not exactly what I’m after. I went into the editor and the original script for this is

var 'hc_page' ? hot_cue 9 : hot_cue 1


which as far as I can tell, doesn’t work.
I changed the code to this:

var 'hc_page' ? hot_cue 9 : hot_cue 9


And that got me more along the path… the pads on my controller DO work with Hotcues 9 thru 16 but the pads on the screen still show the first 8 cue NAMES, not the second 8 Cue Names.

What I was hoping for with the extension would be that when engaged, the 2nd set of pads would show up on the screen and work just like the first 8. I’d see the names of the 2nd set, and when pressed, would either set a cue from 9 to 16(assuming there were 8 already), or go to the hot cue for that pad if one had been set.

I have my cues set for chronological order… so it doesn’t matter where I insert a cue, it will be cue number +1 from the previous cue, and all the cues to the end of the track will increase by 1 count as well. Adding cues 9 to 16 doesn’t work the same way. If I insert Cue 9 between Cue 7 and 8, cue 8 remains in the same place.

Not asking for a miracle, or a edit of the software, but am just curious if I’m missing something simple to get this to work like I’d hoped.

Yes, with the ORIGINAL pad page posted above, you use the parameter buttons to switch between cues 1-8 and 9-16
So, reset the page back to it's original state (or download it again) and use your controller's parameter buttons to switch views between cues 1-8 and 9-16

The principal is the same (you use the parameter buttons to navigate thru cues) but it supports 100+ cues per song, plus some automation & stuff
