Hi, I have just purchased a refurbed Dell laptop and installed VDJ on it, only to discover that when i try to record a new set, the computer switches itself off after 20-25 minutes.... so very frustrating obviously, especially when its a banging mix!!
im aware that it could be the computer overheating, so have run cache clear etc. on antivirus and tried running VDJ without the comp. vents blocked but to no avail. Please someone, is there a special setting (unlikely i know} that might cause this to happen or has anybody else had this happen and been able to resolve it.. if so, h o w !!?? thanx much in advance!

Is this while you are actively mixing (moving mouse or using controller) or when you leave it playing on its own for a while?
Additionally, any details of your computer specs, OS version, and build of Virtual DJ are appreciated.

doesn't sound like it's software related. Should immediately contact seller and try to return or contact Dell support and see what repair will be.
