Tópico: DJ script assitance 2 identical controllers
I have a potentially niche question.

A colleague and I perform together with Virtual DJ, we have a denon rig (X1850 + 2 SC6000s)
We also have 2 x Pioneer DDJ-XP2 controllers.

One of the controllers we would like to use in native Virtual DJ - DDJ-XP2 mode (in other words the standard mapping architecture for this controller).
The second controller we would like to use in a bespoke mode. Specifically we are looking for a means to have the second controller not influence the VDJ UI.
It would be preferable to have a case where a PAD_MODE could be designated a chosen colour when selected and them dim to 25% when another PAD_MODE is chosen.
The pads in each pad mode could then prescribed colours and have functions attributed to press.

Just to clarify, amending the pad pages (editing) is no problem, however I believe are end goal is to have the second controller perform functions that do not affect the VDJ display, an yet do manipulate the audio (FX, beat grid, stem fx, roll etc.

Naturally I am in part familiar with the custom mapper option, that being said my vdj script knowledge is very elementary and I am unable to secure a workable result.

I guess the first question is this feasible?

If so can a person provide an example for say the PAD MODE 1 (full bright red when selected)
Pad 1 (in PAD MODE 1) reverb active vocal stem whilst pad is held (off when released).

Thanks
