Tópico: License Issue
Hi guys, I have a popup telling me that VDJ is licensed on 4 computers and to buy a business license, that's not correct.

It's also causes a very hard crash which you'll have in your logs.

I am in the process of setting up a second machine, and there is one machine already logged in and playing.

My home PC has copy too that's very occasionally used, but is not connect to the license account.

Can you clarify please?

Cheer Mike

I see what's happened, the two PC's we renamed according to their venues, so 2 + 2 equals 4.

Cheers Mike

Hi again guys,

So the website says this " You can authorize up to 4 computers to use your license. If you need to authorize more computers, you can remove existing authorizations."

But we're getting Pop-Ups to the contrary, can you please clarify?

I'm using 2 pcs but i don't want either of them to be spat out and lose the VideoLogo in the middle of an evening.

A response would be appreciated.

Thank you

M

Hi DJDAd . Yes, however, I've cleared them now in the account, but up to then it was popping up on startup, now nothing, buta clarification is required because you can or you can't?

It says you can have 4 machines registered on one licence, but presumably you can only still have two of them active at the same time?

I don't recall any announcement or documentation for the changes that have been made?

From the EULA:

"run the Software on a maximum of two computers at any single time, provided that they are at the same physical location and operated by the same person"

"it cannot be used by two different people on two different computers at the same time"

Yes I have read that but why have up to 4 computers registered on a licence if you can only use two logged in? It doesn't make sense.

First of all I didn't make the post in reply to you. I just posted it in the thread.

Second, it's fairly standard for software licenses to allow installation on multiple computers, but restrict use (at the same time) to one or two. No difference here.
