Dear Virtualdj team,
I've recently transferred my Virtualdj folder on my new computer and hopefully followed all the right protocals. We copied the folder from my old computer and replaced the original Virtualdj folder on the new computer. Is this the right protocal?
We encountered a few issues. Some of my cuepoints database were missing so I guessed that I need to restore a backup for getting the database. For some reason I seem to lose database on both computers every time I copy the virtualdj folder to my memory stick. Do you have any idea why?
Secondly the buttons in my decks are not set according to my old computer e.g. Backspin, echo and echo out. I identified echo out from the Virtualdj extensions, does it have to be installed again?
customised buttons were also not copied in my new computer. I have four customised buttons such as: Reverb, Flanger, Beatgrid and 'cut'. Unfortunately these do not show which is bothersome. From reading guidance on the tutorial videos I understand that this could be found in 'mappings' folder in Virtualdj but there is nothing there.
Conclusively I'm guessing that the Virtualdj folder may not have copied effectively. Please advise.

Thank-you. I've followed these proceedings but may not be accurate. What about my customised buttons. I can't see anything in the mappings folder

they will get copied they are included in the vdj settings file
