Am I doing this right? I have the latest version of VDJ downloaded and in-use. Checking documentation:

I should be able to move these lists and reorder them. But I'm unable. Goal, create a folder for an upcoming event. Add empty "playlists" or crates to the folder and then drag/drop songs from my library to those lists inside of the event folder. And be able to reorder the (containing folders) lists. I figured renaming would reorder, but it doesn't. What am I missing?

On the link you posted scroll down to the MY LISTS section. Are you trying to move them as described?
Also, check in Settings》options》browser》lockFolderOrder and check that it is set to no.
