Tópico: Change audio buffer size
It's set to 512 which is just too high. I've searched the internet over and can't find how to change this. Any help would be appreciated. I see the latency is at 0 but has 11.6 ms with that. I'm able to achieve lower latency numbers in other software.

If you are using an ASIO/hardware specific driver, you set Latency on the GUI that comes with the driver. You can normally get to it from a button that then appears on the Audio config page

If you are using a general driver like WASAPI on Windows, you set it in VDJ by using the LATENCY setting
If you set it to 0, VDJ will use the Latency it decides is the best option

Is there a way to see what VDJ decided the actual latency setting is, if it's set to 0?

It shows up in the audio config once applied - you see the number of channels accessible, and the latency/buffer size (in ms).

I think you can also force the setting with a value for latency (in samples) but that is ill-advised as mismatches with the ASIO settings is probably going to cause audio problems, while setting it to zero just makes it take the value of the ASIO config (no mismatches).

So just to confirm. On my Mac, I have no control over the latency if VDJ is already set to 0 - even though I'm experiencing 11.6ms. : /

Depending on the device, you can either change it by changing the latency setting (try 256 or 128 if you want less than 11ms), or in Audio Midi Setup

And some devices, Pioneer in particular, typically come with their own utility that can be downloaded from their website to set the latency.

I set it to 64 (~1 ms) on my M1 MacBook Pro and M4 Pro MacBook Pro and I have no issues with my S11 or DDJ-1000.

Where are you changing this to 64 on your Mac? Thanks!

Setting = latency
