How do I configure virtual DJ to work seemlesly as a control with Rane 72 MKII mixer and two CDJ 1000MK3. THE connects and works perfect but the cdjs only work for about one song and later stop responding altogether.

So how are you connecting the cdj-1000MK3 with your Rane mixer ?
Have you configured your Rane 72 to use Timecode (DVS) ?

Also keep in mind that in order the Inputs of the Rane to work, you will need to allow the "Microphone" input for VDJ from the Mac Security.

Also when using timecode CDs, make sure that MASTER TEMPO on the CDJs is turned off
