Hey guys,
I'm new to VirtualDJ (VDJ), I come from Traktor Studio (TS).
With TS, BPM and Pitch were controlled individually by separate sliders. But in VDJ, only the BPM has a slider and the Pitch has a pull-down menu in which you can only select whole increments (-3 -2 -1 0 +1 +2 +3 etc), which is frigging annoying IMHO. I much rather would like to have a Pitch a slider with more resolution (-0,3 -0,2 -0,1 0 +0,1 +0,2 +0,3 etc) then a BPM slider.
Is it possible to change this? So far I didn't find it, but maybe I'm overlooking something.
Thanks in advance guys

By "pitch" I think you mean "key".
What you are asking isn't really common - most people want changes in terms of semitones from the root key of the song, so that's probably what the key function on the skin is mapped to (key in vdjscript).
I think, for more granular movements, there is key_smooth.
This is the description of that verb in the vdjscript verb page
change the key of the song, from -6 (half octave down) to +6 (half octave up), allowing not only multiple of semitones. use key_smooth full for full octave up or down
The wording is a bit weird (allowing nor only multiple of semitones), but I assume that means "more precision than semitone steps".
I don't think there is a mapping for that in the default skin, but you could probably make a modification to include a slider for this, or you can add a custom button (in slider form).
