dont listen to him. hard house is for dead heads. u need sumpin wid a tune in it not just a scummy overpassed base line. If your lookin for passy stuff head for drum n bass. d n b is the ultimate music genre. when u hear LTJ bukem live ull know what i mean.

I could sit here listing tunes all day and all week.. I've been listening to some trance/hardtrance/hardhouse from DJ's with streams of their own and of course on the allmighty di.fm for a year or so at work now so my "need to download"-list there is getting kinda long... I'd need like 200Gb of extra space to download all that stuff, but it's ALL GOOD! :o)

Not all Hard House is shit though I'll admit most of the music that the term apllies to now is utter crap.
The better stuff is classed as Hard Dance, Hard NRG or Nu Nrg.
Artists like Karim, Andy Farley, Nick Sentience, Billy Bunter, Jon Doe, Dynamic Intervention, Pranksterz, RR Fierce (died last year), Lab 4 and all the artists on the Tinrib label (Weirdo is a god) produce quality underground stuff - and no cheesy off-beat basslines.
It carries a lot of influences from acid techno and acid trance (Mishka's Mad Gay Mafia are a good example) and I expect its quite different from what you think 'Hard House' is.
The better stuff is classed as Hard Dance, Hard NRG or Nu Nrg.
