You`re right. This newest model from Behringer really looks exactly like the pioneer, but i believe it`s so good as the djm-600. Now, i have the vmx-200 and i got no complaints . But it´s not at all. Take a look over the site : www.audiolines.com . There are some new digital mixers from Numark and they probably have an amazing quality from the outputs. These are DXM-06, DXM-01 and the first release PPD-01.

I actually considered getting a mixer with the optical faders !! Too bad it wasn't in my price range.
I have a VMX-300 myself and I love it !!! The only thing its missing in the punch buttons that the Dx-500 have. I still look back and wonder if I should have got the Dx-500 instead ?
I'm the sure DJM is still better than the 700. It's pioneer ... its up there with rane, vestax, etc. But im sure the behringer comes reeeeallll close for a third of the price.
