Well i zipped up a few of my karaoke folders and was dissapointed when i went to look in the search engine virtual dj could'nt find them i even physically showed vdj where the folder is but it shows as theres nothing inside.
Anyone else having this problem?

It works perfect for me. But first you must go to VDJ, in config clic on extension tab, and then clic on "Add" you must add the extension "zip" to "Karaoke cdg/zip file".
Once this is done it will work perfectly.

It's not by default because only very few people use zipped karaoke with vdj, and those who don't wouldn't like their database to get filled with all the zip files on their harddrive.

that's a very good point...but since i use a seperate pc for dj'ing i don't have alot of zip files that aren't karaoke beside if theres any folder that shouldnt be in there i'll just remove it from the database search
by the way great job you guys saved me 30 gigs just by making it read zipped
