I recommend you to get another 256MB at least or 512MB better. You will find your computer runs better. (and VirtualDJ runs better too)

yes i think that much is clear...and i plan on it ASAP. but like i said my system runs perfect without TCV. and now with TCV its skipping very little, but still does,thanks

You need nemory.
Songs are extracted as uncompressed (wav) files in memory.
If your os need 190mb, then only about 60mb are available, wich means you can use only about 6mins of music in total for 2 decks, before swapfile is involved.
So if you mix ...short 2-3 min songs, ...no problem:)

My super-optimized DAW, and also my -DJ-laptop, use only 75mb mem, as opposite to 190mb of yours...

Well on P4 3,06Ghz HT or centrino duo T2300 (dual core) i'm in reactivity=fast and i never have any problems

It's weird, I have a P4 3.2GHz HT (540) 1.5GB RAM DDR2 and I have issues when I transmit in the radio if I let Ractivity in fast. I have a customize setting now. I got Ractivity in OTHER. The real value I set is 28.
