The v1.09 of virtualdj includes a new action called "empty_buffer", which is only meaningful for plugin developers.
It allows plugins to ask for vdj's internal buffers to be refilled.
Such an action was already automatically taken each time a plugin slider was moved inside vdj.
Now, with the possibility to call this action explicitely, you can have an external window which owns its own controls, sliders and so one.
Just call the action when one of your own control is changed, and you will avoid the 2s latency you had to suffer on prior versions.

this buffer clearing could be the reason for those tiny clicks you hear whenever you move an effect slider, or do small loops (well any loop but they are more audable when they are closer together, this applies to sliders too) is there a way to smooth this buffer transfer because the clicks or ticks or whatever you want to call them are a bug that needs to be fixed
