1) When loading some .mpeg's into VDJ and playing them, I get nothing but a scratchy noisy
sound and no video, why? Checked these videos in winamp and seem to play there ok.
2) Can these scratchy noisy videos be re-converted in another program (?) to play in VDJ?
3) I have used various ripping programs to rip DVD for VDJ.....what is the recommended settings (input and output and resolution) for the best MPEG to be played back in VDJ.
4) Using DVD rip from VDJ works great but I find some vob's are cut off at the end of a video and pick up at the beginning of the next video.....Why?..How do I fix this?

djgodfather,
Search in the forum, the answer was already posted for best Video resolutions for VDJ.
1) What are the audio characteristics of the videos you play? (AC3, LPCM, 48KHz or 44KHz sample rate)
2) Any Video can be converted to another format. You only have to use a program which allows you to do it. I use "CONVERT" by DivX6 to change any video to DivX for example.
3) Some of us use Smart Ripper v. 2.41. VirtualDJ could work in any video resolution, but is better in 44KHz AUDIO sample rate and 16 bits in stereo. When we use 48KHz sample rate or AC3 (48KHz) in stereo, we don't have the best sound thru VDJ. Also if we try some AC3 5 Channel audio config. Some Videos comes in AC3 and LPCM audio formats. VirtualDJ works better in LPCM (2 channels) audio format. If not, use AC3 (2 Channels) audio format but only use one source, not rip with AC3 and LPCM, choose one or the other. (If you use AC3 please note that you have to install AC3 filter codec (by soundforge) to play this files.)
