hello my work uses this software and we upgraded to 3.2 which has dvd ripper when ever we try and rip are promo only disk on either systems it just crashes. are setup are as follows. any ideas been browsing the forum and yes theses do have valid licenses my bsss has the keys i do not.

A Man and His Music
A lot of us have been having this problem with some PO disc. For the time being, I have went back to smartripper. That's what I was using before.

In order to have DVD ripper to not crash, i think the DVD drive must have the letter D: in Windows.

How do I change the letter?
When I high light it, I am not allowed to adjust it. My ripper crashes any time a PO disk is in (Oct or Nov) -or a store bought. If the disk is in when i boot DVD rip, i have a boot crash. If not it crashes when i push the (won't post the charactor...) button. (aka - the crash button (I kid because I love!)).
FYI: SP3 installed.
PS - I keep wanting to say 'good job' to the developement team, but you are moveing so quickly that I am left speachless. Keep it up :) One of the MI 'pros' I work with was left speachless when I told him I had full audio and video mixing and an integrated DMX colour changer engine -on a consumer level notebook. Any economical USB to DMX source leads?

I don't really think that the change of the letter is going to resolve the problem or make it either.
I use CD-ROM in the letters R and S always.
But it the meantime you could use Smartripper v 2.41

thanks for the info just updated my pc to an athlon x2 setup and virtual dj wasn't to happy with xp 64 smart ripper is nice though i wish dvd ripper was working.
