Tópico: Internal Database Format

Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi,

Does anyone know if VDJ uses a known file format for its internal database? it would be very helpful to me if i could extract the information from the internal database for external use outside of VDJ.

Thanks

Mark

Wait and see the next release. You will be pleased I think.

Hey, that will work, thanks. any ideas on a release date?

Hope our Cue points and other db settings remain instact.... .

A question did come to mind the other day about housekeeping. How do we keep or db clean of all those old tracks that we never use anymore or tried once and discarded ?

A cleaning tool for the internal database is a good idea. I'm with you.

A cleaning tool would be nice indeed. When you rename the files outside VDJ those songs will be twice in the database (that is what I think). Also deleted songs will stay until forever in the database

I don't know for certain, but I think when you rescan your drives, it also updates the database.
I wonder if anyone who knows for certain can confirm that?

It would be nice if the BPM and gain info were compatible with other dj programs like PCDJ, PCDJ FX, and BPM studio. that way when we move my tracks around, we do not have to re-analyze each and every one of them.
