When I use 24bit ASIO I get a massive load of static noise instead of music. I am taking the Output 1+2 feed from the console to the linein on my other pc which does any recording/broadcasting - and also has speakers attached.
I thought it was fully ASIO compliant. Am using VDJ 3.4, and latest firmware.
Any pointers?

That sounds a bit "squelchy"... :( Like its over sampled, when the input coming in on soundcard linein is less than -6dB. Same level sounds tons better on WDM.

Maybe you need to increase your buffer size.

It's still not sounding right. Just listened to a recording I did on console mk1 and its a million miles better sound quality. Something is not set right :(

@SiDHEaD : What settings do you have for the mk2 asio ?

16bit and all different buffers...
Have had a thought - it might be somehow due to remote desktopping to the DJ box (waiting for a TFT to arrive for it), even though the sound is coming straight out of the back of the mixer not through remote desktop.
I'll wait till I am sure it isn't that and bump this.
Thanks

Tried it properly, not through RDP, and it was still crap sounding. :(
