i am trying to broadcast on the air and i am having a hard time when it says 8000 what else do i do and also went to get the number for ip and could not get to work so i just gave up.. do u know if 365 radio u can mix live there

You have to open port 8000 at router at yout IP of computer.

Well, first of all you have to disable firewall in Windows at your laptop. Then you have to get access to your router and open port 8000 (if you use this one) in router firewall. Then it should work.

You have just to disable it in windows and OPEN it at router. To disable it in windows right click to connection that is for internet use (local area connection for example and click properties. then click on Firewall (if i am not wrong) and there you have to choose to enable or disable it. Just disable it and click ok.

Then you have to go into preferences of your router and there you have to find something like Virtual Server or Forwarding Rules. It depends of your router. There you can open port 8000 and set it to your local IP.

To make it easy: call your network administrator who configurated router for you ;)

im not using a router i got verizon dsl and i got a direct line to my computer and i still cant get nobody to listen to me they cant even get to ip to listen the speed is 100 mbps i think is broadband or something

have you set it to broadcast from your machine ?
do you have a static ip adress?

have you got the right plugins for encoding

are you using ice cast or shout cast ?
